“I can’t believe we’ve put a man on the moon, yet we use a poo stick to clean the toilet.”
Improved
21st Century Toilet Brush
FlushBrush is a replacement for your horrible toilet brush. It’s a new take on toilet cleaning. Every other object in your bathroom has modernised, become more convenient and more hygienic, except the toilet brush!
The design of the toilet brush has remained the same since the invention of the modern toilet, and most of us keep them within 1 meter of our toothbrushes.
This really has to change. The FlushBrush brings toilet cleaning into the 21st century.
Self Cleaning
The FlushBrush cleaning head is stored discreetly underneath the flow of water, cleaning the head with each flush. As you routinely use your toilet, the water passing over it will dislodge anything that wasn’t repelled by the silicone cleaning surface, and the regular flows of water will prevent bacteria buildup by flushing the whole system each time you use the toilet.
FlushBrush's silicone cleaning head repels water and dirt, and has been specifically designed to avoid having any dirt traps. Silicone is an extremely hydrophobic material, meaning water and dirty substances can hardly stick to it – it’s often used in high quality cooking and medical tools to ensure the highest standards of hygiene.
FlushBrush’s handle only ever makes indirect contact with the inside of the toilet bowl. Anything that makes direct contact with waste stays inside the bowl, and is rinsed with fresh water every time you flush. No transferring of dripping toilet juices from bowl to holder like with a traditional toilet brush.
To install the FlushBrush in your bathroom, lift the toilet lid and position the cradle tightly under the rim of the toilet to ensure maximum water coverage. Once the forks of the cradle are tightly under the rim, fold back the flexible aluminium strip around your toilet bowl, moulding the FlushBrush cradle into place to perfectly fit your toilet.
Eco-Friendly
✓ FlushBrush saves water. The silicone head is cleaned routinely during normal use of your toilet, so there’s no need to flush especially to clean (as you might with a bristled brush). With each toilet flush using an average of 1.6gallons/6 litres of water, saving on those unnecessary flushes will really add up.
✓ FlushBrush saves on chemical usage. Traditional bristled brushed need to be regularly disinfected with bleach, which is flushed down drains and into the environment. FlushBrush uses the water already flowing over it to stay clean, reducing the need for disinfecting chemicals.
✓ FlushBrush wastes less plastic. When you want to change your bristled toilet brush, you need to throw away the whole thing - at least 100g of plastic straight into the bin. With FlushBrush, only the cleaning head needs occasional replacing, and it weighs just 2g of plastic. This means you can still maintain your standards of hygiene without all the unnecessary waste.
Easy To Use
To use the FlushBrush, just pick up the handle from the base, push to connect the head in the cradle and lift it out to start cleaning. When you’re done, position the head back into the cradle, and pull back on the handle trigger to release the head. The cradle has a magnet in it to keep the head secure. Replace the handle in the base and job done!
